Meet the Artists and see Aboriginal Paintings in Creation
In our Gallery and Shop, we regularly hold 'Meet The Artist' days, where you can come and watch our Aboriginal Artists construct and create an original artwork. Contact us for details of the next Meet the Artist day.
Corroboree Dream Art primarily gets its name from Corroboree which is a generic word to explain different genres of performance / theatrical practices which in the northwest of Australia include balga, wangga, lirrga, junba, Bardi Ilma and many more.
Corroboree is often interaction with the Dreamtime through dance, music and costume where Australian Aborigines often paint their bodies in various ways.
We hope you will treasure these genuine paintings and stories told.
