Wildflowers emphasizes the importance of natural re-growth, of renewal, rebirth and regeneration of the land. Underneath and incorporated into the foreground are Jeannie’s ceremonial body paint designs used in Awelye (women’s ceremony), acknowledging the importance of culture.
